Parents Appreciation Day

Dear Parents of Holy Rosary School,

As you may have heard it is Catholic Schools Week. I hope you started out the week with us on Sunday at our special School Mass and Open House. Each day has a special theme running through it. Today is very important because it is Parent Appreciation Day. And I want you to know you are appreciated more than you will ever know or understand.

Parents are the Heart, Soul and Backbone of Holy Rosary. And, let’s face it: if we did not have parents, we would not have a school, because—besides everything else —we would not have any children to teach!

You write the tuition checks, you write checks for the Annual Fund. You write checks for the Centennial Campaign. You write checks for Westfest. You write checks for the Italian Dinner. You write checks for the Christmas tree lot. You write checks for Glow Bowl. You write checks for the Endowment. You write checks for the Golf Tournament. You write checks for the Church. So I decided, to demonstrate our deep appreciation, to purchase a pen for each of you. They will be available in the office. Just stop by and ask Jennifer for one.Pen

All kidding aside, I do consider myself lucky to be part of such a dynamic group of parents, many of which have roots that go back over the 100 years of this institution. You have done a wonderful job raising your children because the students here are fantastic. They demonstrate care and leadership. They always want to do well, and they are always willing to lend a hand. As we all know, “The apple does not fall far from the tree.”

Thank you for all you do and thank you for all you are about to do. May God Bless you and those you love, bringing you great joy, health, peace of mind and prosperity.

Sincerely and appreciatively,

George Hofbauer

Principal
