What An Active School!

Band at the Talent ShowIt never stops here at Holy Rosary School. Last Friday, we had an all-day Talent Show. I was amazed by the students. It takes a good amount of belief in self for a child to get up in front of a group of peers and parents to demonstrate a talent. It does a great amount to help build self-esteem and confidence. It is obvious that those important gifts are cultivated at this school from an early age. And all the children applauded and encouraged one another. That says a great deal about a school. They even seemed to get great joy out of the staff dance! (I did not notice that detail anywhere in my contract, however.) 2nd Grade First CommunionThen, on Saturday, I was privileged to be able to participate in our First Communion celebration. It was great to see so many young boys and girls steeping deeper into their faith lives. The tradition continues. The faith marches on. Our youth have taken a major step into the sacramental life of the Church. Next step: Confirmation! We only have three more weeks left but it seems like we have two months’ worth of activities packed into that short time. So hold on for the ride. Enjoy it and get the most out of it.

Annual Fund Letter

Look for it in the mail. It will come out next week. We are seeking pledges for the 2014-2015 school year. We really need everybody to pitch in. Remember this is a yearly activity and it makes all the difference in the world to the school. Help your child as you help everyone’s child. The amount we all give in this has a great deal to do with what we offer our children next year. If anyone has any questions please feel free to call either Kamila or myself. We would love to help you help the school!
