Centennial Celebration

2014-05-04-CentennialMass-_37_of_41_Last Sunday was a fantastic day of celebration. Our Centennial Year ended with a successful bang. I extend special thanks, on behalf of the entire community to the students, parents, and staff who volunteered so much of their time to make it such an overwhelming success. The liturgy was especially powerful with the children providing music and reading, and dancing the liturgical dance. We should all be proud of all those who attend our school. They consistently represent us well. 2014-05-04-CentennialMass-_2_of_41_And we are all deeply grateful to Archbishop Sartain for sharing himself with us to officiate at the mass, the burial of the time capsule and celebrating with us at the reception. 2014-05-04-IMG_4786-thumbIt was a wonderful additional treat and blessing to have long-time past principal Kris Brown, retrieve the time capsule she buried twenty five years ago, and to mix with so many of the staff and families she came to know over the years.

New Forms

This week we are also posting the new Archdiocesan forms that employees and volunteers have to sign if they are going to be present with the children in any way. There are three forms that must be signed. And unfortunately you cannot just turn them in. You have to bring them in and show your driver’s license to the person who accepts them. That individual will then sign off for them, and in so doing, indicate that they saw your driver’s license. If you do not have a driver’s license I assume a passport or Washington State I.D. might be acceptable.

The three new forms are available from the Archdiocese website through the links below.
